DJ Chris Bladen got into dj'ing through his uncle, Damian Coll, also a DJ, for 12 years now. Chris was 14 when he started taking an interset, but it wasn't until he was 15, in 2002 when Chris finally picked up the the headphones.
After countless lost hours practising, and lots of smashed records he finally cracked beat-matching.
Having listened to Speed Garage since he was 11 during the first boom in the 90's, thats where his passion lay, but he gained his experience from learning with Hard and Funky House.
His first break came when he was 16 with the chance to play a few tunes at Revolution, in Redditch, before getting his first residency a year later at Bar Med, Corporation Street, Birmingham.
Now predominatly playing his favoured genre, and having played the odd big venues here there and everywhere, he also now has a residency at Apres, Stafford.
Chris also now records for Flipside Records and has two tunes out now, snatch and youre not alone released in April 2006.
